The SCD is a joint research and cooperation Center of Al-Quds and Odimed-LD, it is the result of a pragmatic vision of human rights, whose realization, necessarily, passes through the achievement of sustainable development in respect of human dignity.
The experience and the common vision of human rights of both Al-Quds University- a historical Palestinian public University, highly present on the territory, thanks to deep actions of realization of the third university mission (business and society)- and Odimed – an Italian association of several European Universities, professional Bodies, and Institutions- has made possible to create a center for sustainable development that places the dignity of the human being at the center of its interest.

The SCD is an interdepartmental Centre established at Al-Quds University, and has two locations, Palestine and Italy, which are internationally connected to accomplish the SCD mission
The head office is located in Abu Dis campus of Al-Quds University
